Nationwide Simply Rewards
Having multiple accounts and cards, I’m used to receiving offers of cashback regularly. The majority of these though are for stores I never use or I’ve never even heard of.
The one I do use regularly is Nationwide Simply Rewards.
What’s on offer?
Spend money at specific retailers and then receive money back. Whether you like having meals out, fancy a spot of clothes shopping or need to book a holiday, plenty of activities are covered.
The offers change regularly and you can often use the same offer more than once. Not all offers are available to everyone, but most are pretty standard. When you make your purchase using your Nationwide card, the cashback on offer is refunded to your card within five days. It really is that simple!
Currently, on offer, I have £10 back if I spend £75 at Adidas. I’ve used this before but previously received £15. Other offers include a % back from stores such as GAP, Disney Store, Dunelm, Toby Carvery and many more.
Any other benefits?
Another plus to this scheme is you can combine it with others. For example, if you visit Adidas through TopCashback, you will receive another 8% cashback. That means £75 worth of goods from Adidas will set you back just £59 (and that doesn’t include the 0.25% cashback if you’re a Select Credit Card customer). And if you look hard enough, you can also find money off vouchers for when you shop there too. All in all, quite a decent discount!
Here you can see how much I’ve earned over the last two years.
How do I sign up?
It’s simple. Just visit the Simply Rewards site and register your card(s). Then, find the offers you’re interested in and spend!
Do I need to do anything else?
No. The cashback should be automatically paid back to your card. This is usually done within the expected five-day period. Only once has this failed to happen for me. If the money doesn’t appear, it’s simply a case of filling in a form online and Simply Rewards will investigate any issues.
