Online Income – April

Well, the first 3 months’ income for 2020 have gone surprisingly well with just over £2000. But the question is, as the Coronavirus takes hold, will it continue?

As many of you will know, a lot of my monthly income comes from various survey sites. In all honesty, most sites seem to be operating as normal. OpinionHive is the only casualty I know of, although it’s not a site I managed to publish a review of. My first payout came in February and I was going to publish it this month… until I received an email to say it was closing.

I also make a decent amount from cashback and scanning receipts. For obvious reasons, the amount of shopping we do has decreased drastically, although that’s not necessarily a bad thing.

Below is a breakdown of all money made for April (figures in brackets are my earnings for the year).

As usual, the bulk of my income has come from survey sites. Prolific has been the biggest earner, with IntelliZoom coming in 2nd.

I also took my first ever survey with a company called Take Part in Research. I found it through Facebook and the survey involved me speaking to a banking company via video for 1 hour. Well worth £60!

Again, I tried to spend more time on Qmee, which earned me just over £50, which I’m more than happy with.

IntelliZoom  £108.51 (£423.35)

PanelBase £10.65 (£77.05)

Prolific £111.67 (£557.86)

Streetbees £15.90 (£94.40)

Swagbucks £30 (£150) (Amazon voucher)

Testable Minds £20.98 (£36.80)

Qmee £52.56 (£142.11)

OnePulse £15.71 (£56.71)

Branded Surveys £15.90 (£53.30)

Curious Cat £3.84 (£46.82)

AttaPoll £3.57 (£24.32)

OnePoll £25 (£50)

YourSayPays £5

Take Part in Research £60

Focus groups (£102.50)

Energizer £5

Disney £10

Sony £10

GFK – £3

Total: £507.29 (£1998.71)

There are various apps that reward you with money or vouchers when you scan your receipts. As I have gone into isolation, I will start to earn less from these as I am spending less. Take a look at the best receipt scanning apps.

CheckoutSmart £1

Total £1 (£124.64)

Like last month, I have done very little shopping. However, I did earn £10 for shopping at Morrisons with my Santander debit card.

Take a look at the best cashback sites.

Santander £10 (£52.59)

TopCashback £2.56 (£103.62)

Airtime Rewards £0.77 (£13.05)

Total: £13.33 (£196.76)

There are several bank accounts that pay you for having an account or give you cashback for certain bills. See my post on how to be paid by your bank.

Santander £1.32 (includes £1 fee) (£7.78)

Halifax £2 (£8)

Barclays £6.50 (includes £4 fee) (£26)

Total: £9.82 (£46.78)

SerpClix £5.71 (£10.80)

Neevo £22.37 (review coming soon)

Total: £28.08 (236.56)

Please note, I have not included any income from matched betting in this report as not everybody is comfortable with taking part.
