The TSB current account switch is available again, and this time you can earn £200 within your first year.
*Offer is currently unavailable*
Switching current accounts is one of the easiest ways to make money. Some banks offer a switching incentive more or less permanently, whilst others offer it more sparingly. And for only the second time this year, the TSB current account switch offer is back on.
For those that haven’t tried it before, switching accounts is very easy. They do all the work for you and all of your direct debits and standing orders are swapped automatically.
What do you get?
Switch to TSB and you will earn £130. Plus, you can earn £10 every month in cashback until June 2018. That’s £200 in total! And not only will you get £200, but you will also receive a very competitive 3% on your credit balance of up to £1500.
What do you need to do?
Apply for a Classic Plus account by 4 December 2017 and complete your switch using the Current Account Switch Service before 22 December 2017. Pay in at least £500 into your new account within 28 days of the switch. Transfer all active credits and debits, which must include at least 2 active Direct Debits as part of your switch. The Direct Debits must still be registered at least 28 days after the switch completes.
To qualify for the £10 cashback:
- £5 cashback every month just for having two direct debits per month
- Plus another £5 cashback every month if you spend with your debit card at least 20 times a month, including Apple and Android Pay
Is TSB any good?
I have been a customer for just over a year. My cashback was paid quickly and (touch wood), I’ve not had any problems with the account. It’s a shame that the interest paid on credit balances dropped from 5% to 3%, but I can understand the reasons behind it. I have no plans of leaving TSB anytime soon. Their banking app is also very easy to use and their website is simple to navigate.
To qualify for cashback you need to apply through this link from MSE. If you go direct, you won’t receive anything. This offer ends on the 4th December, so get switching soon.
