Co-op frozen meal deal

Freezer favourites from Co-op

Freezer favourites is new to the Co-op and replaces their previous meal deal offer. Which is a shame as the meal deal seemed to offer better value.

However, that’s not to say it’s still not a bargain. Buy all of the items together and they will cost you £6*. However, if you’re a Co-op member, the price comes down further to just £5. Find out more about the Co-op membership scheme.

How to save even more

Let’s be honest, £5 for all that food is pretty good. But there are ways to save even more money.

Co-op membership card

For just £1, you can become a member of the Co-op. You will receive personalised offers each week and access to exclusive prices.

Cashback apps

Cashback sites are an easy way to make money back when you shop, but the issue is, they generally only work when you shop online. However, Airtime Rewards allows you to link your debit or credit card to the app and cashback is added automatically when you make a purchase.

You’ll be given rewards when you shop at the likes of Primark and Matalan and any money you earn can be put towards your mobile phone bill. Sign up here and use the code 8YXY4BLK for a 50 pence bonus.

Please remember that the retailers listed on Airtime Rewards change regularly, so the Co-op may not always be listed. But it’s certainly worth downloading.

Bank cashback offers

Many of the major banks now offer cashback offers to your debit card. All you need to do is visit your banking app (or website) and activate them. Then, shop as normal and the cashback will be added back into your bank – sometimes as much as 15%. Some of the banks offering cashback include Santander, NatWest and Lloyds. The best thing is that cashback can be earned on top of anything you get back from the two apps I listed above.

Receipt scanning

Did you know that several apps out there pay you for photos of your receipts? Just snap a picture of your receipt, submit it through the app, and you’ll earn points. These points can then be traded for cash or vouchers. And the best thing is you can use the same receipt for all the apps. Take a look at the best receipt scanning apps.

And if you like making the most of supermarket deals, take a look at the next dates for 25% off 6 bottles of wines.

Co-op alternative – Iceland £10 meal deal

Iceland is currently offering 10 frozen items for just £10. These include pizzas, which sell for £3 each. That means you could get up to £30 worth of food for just £10.
