MindMover Connect Survey Site Review: Low Pay, High Frustration
Do you have a few spare minutes each day and fancy earning a little extra? Online surveys can be an easy way to top up your income in short bursts. But not all survey sites are created equal.
In this review, I’ll take a straight-talking look at MindMover Connect, how it works, whether it’s legit, and—most importantly—whether it’s actually worth your time.

MindMover Connect review
MindMover Connect is a legitimate UK-based platform, but it often fails to respect a user’s time. With vague survey estimates, “blind” redirects to low-paying tasks, and points that expire after 12 months, it is far outperformed by more modern, transparent survey panels.

Pros
- Legitimate UK-based company (active since 1999)
- Quick and easy sign-up process
- Simple “1 point = 1 penny” conversion system
Cons
- “Blind” redirects to surveys with unknown pay and time
- Points expire after 12 months
- High £20 minimum payout threshold
- Inadequate and unresponsive customer support
MindMover Connect review
I’m not usually one to complain—but I’m going to anyway.
Over the last ten years, my pay has crept up by only a couple of per cent. That’s public sector life for you. Instead of endlessly moaning (well, not too much), I’ve spent years looking for ways to boost my income on the side.
Online surveys have actually worked well for me. I can do them in the evening, in front of the TV, or while waiting for my kids at their clubs. And there are some genuinely decent survey sites out there—you can see my full list of survey sites that pay cash.
Unfortunately, MindMover Connect isn’t one of them.

What is MindMover Connect?
MindMover Connect is an online survey site that pays users for sharing their opinions. You complete surveys on your phone, tablet, or computer and earn points, which can be exchanged for cash or Amazon vouchers.
That’s the theory, anyway.
Is MindMover Connect legit?
MindMover Connect is run by MindMover Group Limited, a UK-based company located in Hampshire. The business dates back to 1999, although it has gone through several name changes over the years.
It’s a legitimate company, and you’ll find plenty of MindMover Connect reviews on Trustpilot and similar sites. This isn’t a scam—but legitimacy doesn’t automatically make it good.
How does MindMover Connect work?
Signing up is quick and easy. You answer some basic questions about yourself and your household, confirm your email address, and you’re ready to go.
Surveys appear in your dashboard or arrive via email invitations. Each survey is supposed to show:
• Estimated completion time
• Number of points you’ll earn
Each point is worth 1p.
Once you reach 2,000 points (£20), you can withdraw your earnings as either:
• PayPal cash
• Amazon vouchers
Here’s the catch: you can only cash out twice per month—once at the beginning and once mid-month.
You may also see mini-polls and discussion topics, but these don’t pay anything at all. Presumably they’re there for the joy of sharing your opinion for free.
Any downsides?
Yes. Quite a few.
First, customer support is poor. If you have a problem, you can’t just send an email. You have to raise a ticket by creating a separate account on another part of the site. I asked a simple question and never received a reply—although I was informed that my message had been viewed three times. Helpful.
The bigger issue is survey transparency.
You’ll often receive an email telling you a survey takes X minutes and pays Y points. But if that survey has already closed or you don’t qualify, you’re automatically redirected to a different one. At that point, you’re flying blind. No time estimate. No idea what you’ll be paid.
I completed one redirected survey that took around 10 minutes and paid 2 points. That’s 2p. Genuinely not worth the electricity.
Survey timings are also vague to the point of being useless. “10+ minutes” could mean 11 minutes or it could mean an hour. That matters when you’re effectively being paid pennies.
And then there’s the final kicker: your points expire after 12 months. Leave them sitting too long and they’re simply taken away. There’s no good reason for this other than saving the company money.

Is there a refer-a-friend scheme?
No—and oddly, that’s one of the few things I respect.
Many poor-quality survey sites dangle generous referral bonuses to encourage people to promote them regardless of quality. MindMover doesn’t even do that, which probably tells you something about how confident they are in the product.
What do other users say?
On Trustpilot, MindMover Connect scores around 2.9 out of 5.
Some users say it pays reliably, which is fair. Others complain about low pay, missed payments, and unanswered support queries. Based on my own experience, those negative reviews ring true.
My MindMover Connect review conclusion
MindMover Connect started well—for about half an hour. After that, it became a familiar story: long surveys, poor rewards, and too much uncertainty about whether your time will be worth anything.
I’ve been doing online surveys for years, and once you’ve been burned a few times, you stop tolerating it. This site simply doesn’t pay enough to justify the effort.
The fact that they can also remove your points if you don’t cash out in time is the final nail in the coffin for me.
If you’re determined to try it, you can sign up below. But honestly? There are much better survey sites in the UK that respect your time far more.

They don’t even payout when you get to £20 anymore. I have been waiting for mine since April 1st, 2022. Are they running an April fools joke? I contacted them above in the way you say above but no reply so I stopped doing the surveys. I complained on Trustpilot but they no longer reply to that either. Are they still in business? If yes they still have the cheek to send surveys
MindMover Connect are appalling. I am owed in the region of £150 and I will take it further until someone takes action. I completed one of their tickets (knowing full well that they would not respond) and told them if they didn’t give me the details of their complaints department, I would take it to the National newspapers. They all deserve to lose their jobs and I will make sure they do. I will not give up! The latest is that they don’t send me any more surveys, but as they don’t pay anyway, what difference does that make.
