With so many packages and channels on offer, it can be a little confusing what is and what isn’t included in your Sky subscription. Take a look at what channels come with Sky Signature and what kind of extras you can add to improve your viewing.

With almost 13 million customers, Sky is the go-to provider when it comes to TV. But being a customer isn’t always the easiest of processes. With so many packages available, it can become a little difficult to figure out what you actually have and whether you’re getting good value for money. Then, to complicate matters further, they decide to change the package names.
Still, you won’t find a bigger selection of shows and films anywhere else in the UK. So let’s take a look at the Sky TV packages on offer.

What else can you add to Sky Signature?
So, if the channels above aren’t quite enough for you, then why not consider adding some of the below packages?
Sky Ultimate
For £37 per month, you can have Netflix added to your Sky Signature package. The £6 extra per month is almost what you would pay if you bought Netflix separately (usually £5.99) so it depends if you want to run it through your Sky box or not.
Remember, if you take up a Netflix subscription through Sky Signature you’ll be tied in for 18 months. But if you go directly to Netflix, you’ll only have a monthly contract.
Sky Cinema
If you think that there aren’t enough films available on Netflix, then you’ll find a lot of the biggest movies with Sky Cinema. At a cost of £19 per month, you will be able to watch the following channels:
- Premiere
- Hits
- Greats
- Disney
- Family
- Action
- Comedy
- Romance
- Thriller
- Sci-Fi
- Horror
- Select

Sky Sports
If you’re a sports fan, then this is a must. For £32 per month you will get access to:
- Sky Sports Main Event
- Sky Sports Premier League
- Sky Sports Football
- Sky Sports Cricket
- Sky Sports Golf
- Sky Sports F1
- Sky Sports NFL
- Sky Sports Arena
BT Sports
Of course, Sky Sports isn’t the only place you can get your sporting fix. If you need more channels, then you’ll need to subscribe to BT Sports for £27 per month. You will then be able to watch BT Sport 1, 2, 3 & BT Sport ESPN.
Sky Kids
If you have small people in the home, then what better way to distract them than with TV? There are 8 channels on Sky Kids, all for £5 per month.
- Baby TV
- Boomerang
- Cartoonito
- Cartoon Network
- Nickelodeon
- Nick Jr
- Nick Jr Too
- NickToons
Extras
It’s not just extra channels that you can add to your Sky TV subscription. Depending on your needs and wants, you could upgrade to the following.
HD
If you have a compatible TV, you can watch over 40 live Sky channels in HD for £7 per month.
Ultra HD + HD
And if you find yourself watching HD and thinking ‘wow, what poor quality’, why not upgrade to Ultra HD for £11 per month?
Multiscreen
Families that find themselves arguing about what to watch may want to upgrade to multiscreen. This will allow up to 4 people to watch different channels at the same time. This is charged at £15 per month.
How much will a full subscription to Sky cost?
Deciding to take out all the TV channels, Ultra HD and Multiscreen will set you back a cool £146 per month. Let’s be honest, that’s a lot of money.
But if you’re a new customer, there should be some discounts available from Sky. Expect to pay just over £100 each month for all of the above. You may even get a better deal if you take out broadband too. And don’t forget to look at cashback sites when you join. You can often get well over £100 back when taking out a new deal, just by clicking on a link.
When your introductory offer ends after 18 months, don’t just let it renew. Negotiate a better deal. You can often get up to 50% discount from Sky if you haggle.
