On paper, a Merlin Pass looks like an easy win.
In reality, it only works if you go often enough.

What Is a Merlin Pass?
A Merlin Annual Pass is a yearly membership covering attractions owned by Merlin Entertainments across the UK.
There isn’t a separate “Tussauds annual pass” or individual theme park pass. Attractions like Madame Tussauds London are included under the Merlin umbrella.
You choose a tier. The more you pay, the more access and perks you get.
2026 Update: The Tier Shake-Up
In late 2025, Merlin removed the old Discovery and Silver passes for new customers.
They’ve been replaced by the Essential Pass.

• One free Fastrack per visit at theme parks
Break-even: 7–8 visits.
For coaster fans who visit regularly, that Fastrack perk adds real value.
The Booking System (Still Important)
All passes require pre-booking.
Essential and Gold holders can hold 3 active bookings at once.
Platinum holders can hold 6.
If a date sells out, you can’t enter — even with Platinum.
