That’s exactly what the Biscuit Pet Care app promises. And when I first tried it, I’ll be honest — it actually delivered.
But fast forward to 2026, and things have changed quite a bit.
This isn’t just another “easy passive income” app anymore. In fact, depending on how you use it, it might not be worth bothering with at all.
So here’s my updated, no-nonsense Biscuit app review based on how it works now.

The Biscuit app is a dog walking and pet care app that rewards you with points (called “Biscuits”) for:
- Walking your dog
- Logging pet care activities
- Uploading things like vaccinations or insurance
You can then exchange those Biscuits for:
- Gift cards (Amazon, Tesco, Just Eat, etc.)
- Discounts on pet products
- Charity donations
On paper, it’s simple.
In reality, it’s changed quite a bit.
How does the Biscuit app work?
Getting started is straightforward:
- Download the app
- Create an account
- Add your dog (including microchip details)
That last bit is important — you do need to share quite a lot of data, including:
- Your details
- Your dog’s information
- Microchip number
They say it’s for verification (which makes sense), but let’s be honest — it’s also part of how they make money.
Once you’re set up, you:
- Start a walk in the app
- Hit your daily goal
- Earn Biscuits
How many Biscuits can you earn now?
This is where things have clearly gone downhill.
2026 earning rates (free plan)
- Around 5 Biscuits per day on the standard plan
- Typically requires around an hour’s walk
Biscuit Plus (paid)
- Around 25 Biscuits per day (basically the old rate)
- Monthly subscription required
So what used to be the standard free earning rate is now locked behind a paywall.
That’s the biggest change.
What rewards can you get?
You can still get gift cards, but they now cost more.
Example (2026)
- £10 voucher ≈ 1,200 Biscuits (sometimes more)
This used to be closer to 1,000 — sometimes even less.
And not all rewards are available unless you’re on Biscuit Plus.
So again, free users get the short end of the stick.
How long does it take to earn a reward?
Let’s be realistic.
Free plan
- 5 Biscuits per day
- 35 per week
👉 £10 voucher (1,200 Biscuits) = 34+ weeks
That’s 8 months for a £10 reward.
Biscuit Plus
- 25 Biscuits per day
- 175 per week
👉 £10 voucher = around 7 weeks
Which is basically what the free version used to be.
My experience (and what’s changed)
When I first tried Biscuit, it felt like an easy win.
Walk the dog → get rewarded → cash out every couple of months.
Nothing life-changing, but worth doing.
Now?
It feels like one of those apps that:
- Hooks you in with a good free model
- Then slowly shifts everything behind a subscription
And that’s exactly what’s happened here.
You can still earn on the free version — but it’s so slow now that most people will just give up.
Is the Biscuit app safe?
Short answer: probably, but not risk-free
There’s nothing major suggesting it’s unsafe.
But you are sharing:
- Personal details
- Dog information
- Microchip data
